ABOUT
Born in Enfield; (London) I was very lucky from an early age to receive lots of musical encouragement from my father who was a musician and conductor.
I started learning to play the drums when I was eight years old and was fortunate enough to join “Dads Dance Band” at fourteen thus gaining considerable experience playing all over the South of England.
In 1981 I got my first professional gig, a summer season at the ‘Bayshore Hotel’ on the Isle of Wight and have been able to keep working ever since.
I have been fortunate to work and tour with many great musicians and played a whole variety of musical styles in a wide variety of bands.
Everything from a small Jazz trio to Big Band, from Country to Rock , from Ballroom Latin to the Blues.
Performing at all nature of Venue from your local Pub to Wembley Arena, Theatre and Cruise Ship, the weird and the wonderful.
Over the years my career has involved being recorded on disc, T.V. film & radio and has also included many tours and much worldwide travel.
So from that very first Pro gig, I knew a life performing Music was definitely what I wanted to do!
As they say ‘The rest is History’.
